Can I ask a dim question?  Does chocolate mint taste like chocolate or is it the colour?  ???  Either way, I fancy having a go - any chance of a cutting sally lockhart?  I have seeds if you want to swap...?  These are open to anyone, of course!!

Mint
Basil
Beetroot (Perfect 3)
Tomato (Alicante)
Chilli (Cayenne)
Sweet Pepper (Worldbeater)
Carrot (Chanteray Red Cored)
Radish (Scarlet Globe)
Strawberry (Alpine - Mignonette)

hello

sorry for not replying sooner to your chocolate mint requests - a4a has been offline for me for a while.

I will be digging up the mint for repotting this weekend, so will hopefully get some bits in the post to you shortly after then.

sally- I can't attest for the taste as I haven't used it yet, but it smells like after-eight mints. As for colour - about the same as peppermint. Feel free to pm me with your address.

Sally, (you are going to wish you hadn't mentioned it!) but could I have a bit of your chocolate mint to try, sounds interesting!  Anything you are in need of??

Thankyou to all who sent me some seeds, they're very much appreciated and I hope to be able to return the favour very soon.

My herb garden will certainly be varied this year.

I have lots of coriander seeds that I got from the local Indian grocery store (so they worked out much cheaper) so please pm me if you would like some.  I have never had a pm so you could pm me even if you don't want them!

Hi sally,
I received the cutting yesterday - loved the packaging, the postie was a bit bemused until I explained what it was!  Thanks so much, I think I will be spending even more time out in the garden, smelling the chocolate mint - Delish!! ;D
