I bought one from Tescos about 3 years ago.
They were selling them cheep half dead they were. So put it in a bucket of water last year I had a bullrush on it so chuffed.
I have a few water plants in buckets as my fish eat most of the plants I put in the pool.

I have two largish perforated baskets with bulrushes in to contain them - but the roots have already found their way outside. I have heard that these roots can perforate a lining, Does anyone have any knowledge of this?

Yes I'm afraid they will

RIGHT! - re-potted,in large, heavy duty plastic pots with no holes! Several of the best stalks got bust in the process, but I hope that they will ome again.
Are there any other plants that we need to beware of, vis-a-vis liner damage?
