I've just bought 3 potted Flat leaf Parsley plants from th Tesco...50p each (reduced for quick sale). Is there any way that they can be planted out and left to develop into normal plants. I accept that they have been grown in an artificial environment but can they be hardened off and grown on like normal seedlings.

Hi.  You will probably find that the 'plant' is in fact many, many crammed seedlings all in one pot.  It is possible to separate them, grow them on and then plant them out.  I've done it a few times with some success.  Good luck.

We often fall back on pots. Usually, I take off half a dozen for growing on. Last December I just put the whole pot in.

Definitely!  I know it's cheating, but I've often done it as a quick fix.  Never thought about hardening off   :-[   but they've always done fine. :)
