OO er - problems with the babies?

I no expert here (how many times am I going to start a sentence like that) but I think it depends on the conditions in individual modules, e.g. wet/damp/cold/warm or stem damage.

I think chesnut compount is used to stop the rot (so to speak) but wait for someone else who really knows what they're talking about to post to this.

Got my fingers crossed for you

Cheshunt compound is traditional, but also try to make sure there's some air circulation around the seedlings, as the fungus thrives in a warm, damp, stagnant atmosphere.

cheers mdears.  hoping the rot has stopped as no more have fallen foul.  it's another of my trials, this time of those pink poppies i was talking about a while ago.  i have millions of the things so if my tray full expires before i get round to getting the Cheshunt stuff, I can trial trial again.

;D
