Hi everyone,

seem to have managed to buy the fastest ripening bananas on the planet this week so have about 20 to use up!

Anyone have a good banoffee pie recipe?? or any other banana recipes gratefully recieved.

I have somewhere, from the restaurant that claims to have invented it, The Hungry Monk in Jevington, East Sussex.

I'll have a search for it.

Being rather partial to cooking with bananas, I will have to have a go at this ...

Old topic, I know, but thought I'd add that my old Uni housemate made superb banoffee pies - the recipe is here - http://spod.cx/pies.shtml :)
