Yes, I know - purple sprouting again - sorry!

But how do the farmers do it? That's an 8" pan!

My brassicas all got et by the pigeons since it turned cold while I was still struggling with the combination of school and the remains of a serious chest infection. I've kept the stumps in the hope of getting some spring greens, but no sprouts this year.

Me too Robert.  :( :'(

But, Sprout - tastes so good. Steamed!

supersprout

Was inspired by your earlier pic tim, not only steamed them but Kept the Water for Soup (where's that icon with the halo?)  ;)

The best I could do!!

tim

Oh, & of course, the more often you boil potatoes in it, the thicker it gets!

Haven't had anything from my purple sprouting broccoli, but have had some small but very tasty romanesco broccoli, keep looking to see if I'm going to get some good secondary shoots, but nothing yet.

...I shall have to visit my plot and see if the purple sprouting has grown

but from past experience will not expect to much :-\

supersprout

I have decided this must be Late purple sprouting broccoli, and will go check again at Easter ::)

Debs

Oh dear Supersprout!

I shall have a check of mine in the morning & see what is happening
...if anything :-\

I have one rogue plant (sown by youngest) that I did not get covered and it has been pigeoned.
