I'd just like to introduce myself - I'm new to this site, and to allotments.  My OH and I are waiting to hear when we will get our allotment - we should know by the end of this week and we can't wait.  I'm sure we'll pick up lots of v. useful info from you all - we'll need it!

Thank you everyone for your words of welcome!  This site is very addictive, we've only recently got broadband, and I find myself at the computer quite a lot (instead of doing the things I should be doing).  Hopefully we should get the allotment really soon, so we can start growing some lovely food.
