There may be a big scandal we hear of tomorrow RR. Bunch of people behind the compost with the fire brigade and the orchestra. Took a whole lot of bottles of home made wine there. Very quiet here so you haven't missed much.

Oh yes the peace and tranquility of the countryside. They have been harvesting the spuds and ploughing the fields and sowing the Winter wheat and cutting the hedges and muck-spreading. One 10 tonne tractor and trailer every 10 minutes, 24 hours a day. Ah for the smell of pig muck and diesel. You can feel things growing. And boy can those sparrows cough.

Ragged-robin, turn left out of the shed door and follow the giggles from Doris. Compost heap is optional, but welcome, no doubt.

Hey Gavin

Thought they were going to ban fireworks RSPCA
only for Nov 5 celebrations. Get feed up of suffering for a month solid and birthday parties through the year.
Got two dogs who go to pieces everytime they go off.

The traffic is only temporary. We do not get fireworks close by, but they have been shooting peasants (or something like that) all day so there have been plenty of bangs and shouts and whistle blowing and 4x4's.
You pack your kids off the Uni and just get used to the peace and they come home again. And they want Dad's taxi at all hours. Enough to make even me take to drink. I'll have a dry sherry please. Hows about that for risk taking?

Talking about nettles, I did get my hand in them today and it feels all funny now, like creepy crawleys under the skin especially when I move my fingers. Weird with typing. Can the fireman help me too?
