Hi Lorna.  It looks like you're having a fab time without all of us  :( 

We're all stuck here in blighty coping with the first frosts but don't you worry about us as I'm sure you're ok in the land of Stella, mussels and mayo, chips and roast chicken  ;D

Hey Wardy I am back!!!! Only went from Fri to Mon but did we have fun..I am off again on Sunday to spend a week with my sister in Erith Kent.

Pleased you had a good time Lorna and that you found Janneke Pis too.   That Gaul village display in the Grande Place was part of celebrations for the first new Asterix book to be published in 4 yrs.   Mannekin Pis was dressed up as Obelix!!  Doesn't look a bit like me, I have to say.

Glad you got to Bruges and you were lucky with the weather.

Twospot. I thought you were the guilty one!!!  We were going out somewhere and Lorna said "Don't forget you have got to do that dare" So off we went to get more pics. Moral...Never dare a Londoner ::) I just can't tell you how we enjoyed ourselves, the night before we went I couldn't sleep, had 1 hour sleep. Lorna had just finished four days of hard work (she is manager of a Sue Ryder shop) so when we had booked in to the Hotel we went on a two hour (plus) walk, had a meal then returned to Hotel. We intended to have a shower and go out again, we had a rest on the beds, next thing we knew we woke at 9.20am next morning 13 hours sleep. We didn't even see the end of Eastenders. (Not that I wach it!!) Lorna said I am not going to miss breakfast.. dashed downstairs.... lovely lovely food. You name it they had it. Want to go for a week next time.  I was so glad it was such a  great visit as it had cost Lorna such a lot of money (bless her). Lorna.
