I could really do with some comfrey in the garden, as I garden organically and would find a huge range of uses for the stuff. Does anyone have any self-seeded baby plants they'd like to rehome? Either I can swap for seeds or possibly small plants depending on what you fancy. :)

Good grief I forgot!  I'm so busy at me B & B cleaning and cooking, cooking and cleaning that I've not been to plot.  have six guests in this weekend so I don't think I'll get time to go digging up comfrey.  If I go on Sunday I promise I'll get you some

Waggie It's either a comfrey or a foxglove  ;D   No, if you still want one let me have your details and I'll get you one in the post.  Would like a swop though.  I'm always in the market for mixed oriental leaf seeds  :)

Come to think of it I dug one up on the communal plot yesterday and potted it up.  It's a proper Bocking 14 I think.  I think it must be as it's near the comfrey pipe.  We had a session yesterday chopping comfrey to fill our pipe to make more lovely fertiliser.  Seems to be doing really good on the brassicas.  For a bit of fun we grew Mammoth cabbages and sold them at our plant fayre.  They were fantastic things, no doubt helped by generous helpings of sheep dung liquid and comfrey
