Well, it came and it went, and it rained all flipping weekend!  I was hoping to get down to the lottie for a bit on my birthday, but no chance!
Thanks for all your kind wishes - I had a great weekend, spoilt rotten, and now Christmas to look forward to!   ;D

Emma - hope you managed to "get a bit"....even if it wasnt at the lottie.... ::) ;).....(I know that's awfully crude but had to say it  before Hugh or someone else jumps in.....hope this isn't a "chucking out" offence :o.... glad you had a good day and were made such a fuss of.....it rained the entire weekend here too......glad I went Friday afternoon when it was only drizzling ???

Hi Lishka, and thanks for the birthday wishes!

My conservatory is heated  the same  as the house, which is necessary as it is huge and one half is the kids play area whilst the other half is my tropical rain forrest!  It isn't heated over night though so once the heating goes off at around 9pm-ish, there is no more heat until about 5am-ish.  I have never known it to be frosty in there, but it gets bl**dy cold!  I have another 7 pineapple plants growing, but none with fruit on yet.  Of the 7, I hope one will be ready to produce next year....if only I knew what I did!!!    ;D
