This has come as a complete surprise as I got this at the Green Market in Newcastle and thought I would give it a try, and this is the result.  It has just grown on my porch at the front door, and hasn't had much special treatment.  Are they easy to grow are have I just been lucky?  :D busy_lizzie

Well, what am I doing wrong then??? Mine look awful! No fruit, flowers are **** and leaves are turning brown and curling up!!!! Perhaps I'll just ignore it for a week and hope for best!! Lovely plant though, well done. Lottie  ;D

I too am growing Aubergines, having had a go last year from donated plants. Five plants in total, four looking happy, but small fruit only at the moment, which is good, because I don't want a massive harvest while I am away! My daughter loves them, so any crop will be rapidly consumed.

Never really bothered to pop in here - the gallery - before, just presumed it was all pictures! And I am not really into pics that much! Perhaps when my paid membership comes through . . .
