them lilys look almost fake, you must have a pretty good camera to get them that sharp.

if you want them to look a bit more blurred as an effect, heres a tip i picked up, aim the centre of the view slightly to one side, hold the button down half way so it doesnt take the picture them focus on what you want. by doing this, it foucuses the orignial bit, which isnt the mian subjetc of the picture and blurs the mian subject.

Everything's dead sharp, you'd have dome better to have used a wider aperture and let the background go a little out of focus.That would have created a bit of a sense of depth.

I disagree.  The sharper the picture, the better it looks.  The Lillies look fantastic, the sharpness only shows the sheer detail - no complaint there!  Ditto with the other pictures too.

Carol - what beautiful photos !

I have same geraniums as yours and they put on a beautiful display this year.  Unfortunately there is not ONE left and I will now have to wait until next year for another display.
