Tomatoes.

1. Costoluto Fiorentino. It is bifurcating strongly. So, if it really wants to, I'm going to let it try. After all, the sooner flower trusses are formed, the sooner the fruit.

2. Palla di Fuocco. With this one, all the side shoots are carrying flower trusses when 2" long. Never seen that before. Once again, the lower the truss, the sooner ripe. So, I shalll let a few go their own way.

Spoke to the Real Seed folk & they say 'yes - they've noticed this, but don't have a firm answer'.

I seem to think I had the second, but will have to go label hunt in the greenhouse and on the plot.  I have had a couple that split right down at the base of the plant, and they both have identical trusses, so I am leaving them to it.

Tim-Costoluto redifines the term `vigorous`-best grown over the arches-and not so bad to eat either.
