The blurb on the packet - & elsewhere - about pinching out cus at the roof & growing on 2 side shoots.

Well -  bravely tried it this year - 14 June. One that I 'stopped' has just stayed there: the other has made a secondary shoot of about 18". No fruit yet.

Whereas - the 2 that I allowed to grow have made some 5 feet. Full of fruit.

Your cucumbers are fabulous Tim!  Mine are puny in comparison.   Next year I want to know when you sowed, what variety, what you said to them, when you watered them, everything!  ;D
