Thanks tim :) - i have given in and bought reduced plants from b&q- they were on a trolley so the ones at the top were doing fine but the rest had been starved of light, hence they were reduced.
BTW- when did you last fly a plane? Ive always wanted to get meself a pilots license.

Ditto - one of my big ambitions is to get a pilot's licence - do not think I will ever be able to afford it though.  I love flying in small planes.  Never been in a big plane but.
