Had the first Ailsa Craig a week ago, and a single Roma yesterday. The AC were a bit tough skinned, I thought, but so nice to have something actually tasting of tomato.

The first Beefsteaks got pecked off by the hen raid i had a week ago.Cheeky buggers.

This is the Giant Navikova I posted a pic of a couple of weeks ago. It hasn't got much bigger but it's almost ripe.

That's one for Giant Navikova, shame it started to turn and not grow larger though :'(
Not sure of the variety, I've heard of Gigant-10 Novikova and wondered is it the same one?

I already wrote some of this on another thread, so excuse me if you read that, but I've had a fair few Latah (from Realseeds) ripening outdoors with some cloche protection since the end of June. Red Alert quickly followed on. Sungold were a later sowing and a bit of an afterthought so mine are still green in the greenhouse. Actually all the greenhouse tomatoes are still green - gardeners delight and Alicante. The brandywines are setting very few fruit so far.
