I just got my electric bill it is 50% higer :o :o :o

I was not expecting it to increase by so much.

We are slightly in credit with electric & owe the gas £170 ::)

Our gas bill was up £160 and the payments have gone up! we are quite carefull with it, the same with the lecky,its up! my son who is a electrion, he puts in underfloor heating and  wants us to put it in the living room in stead of the gas heating, he said it will be cheaper? anyone got it out there?

We were persuaded to have under floor heating in our semi in 1964.   When we sold it buyers were not happy about it.   We loved it.  I believe the people who bought it had it taken out.  I was not working at the time.  I think you need to have it on all day.  Don't know if this helps.

We have underfloor heating and it works very well. We certainly don't have it on all day, just two sessions in the morning and evening.
