Folks with honda jazz plz

what size engine have you got?
And do you find them underpowered?
Someone told me theirs was rubbish as soon as it came to a hill.

I've got a 1.4 automatic, I've never had problems going uphill, even with 3 passengers.
It's got a seven speed continuously variable transmission gearbox, you can't even notice the gear changes unless you put your foot hard to the floor.
It has the paddles for manual use, but I've never bothered to use them.

There are 1.1 models available, all cars with such small engines would have trouble on hills anyway.

I would certainly recommend one, they keep their price too, due to having low car tax and high efficiency. I got 53mpg going to Cornwall (from near Heathrow). Sticking to the speed limit or lower.
Fuel consumption rises quite a lot if you are doing 80mph.
You would use 25% more fuel going the same distance travelling at 80 compared to 60.
