Latest Windows update - translation
« on: August 06, 2010, 20:30:08 »
SInce Windows updated itself last week everytime I point to a link I get a pop up box with a translation of each work in several different languages, it is sending me balmy.  How do I switch it off?  I keep clicking on disable but a few minutes later it pops up again,

And how do I stop windows automatically updating my computer at 6am every thursday morming that sends me balmy too especially if I am using it at the time.

I press the button which says do it later but it has no  effect.

Is it windows, or do you have a google toolbar?

If it is google toolbar, there should be a 'Translate' on the bar, just press the down arrow and click the down arrow to switch it off.

If you swich it off using the disable line, remember to press save.

If it's not a google thing, but a windows thing, I will have to pass.
If there's nothing wrong with me, maybe there's something wrong with the universe!

Thank  you so much Crispy it has now gone, you were right I just had to click on save, I am not sure if it was a windows thing or an internet explorer, but I was getting it everywhere so it must have been windows.  But whatever you have solved it for me.
