Not much of a tomato harvest, but enough to brighten up a grey December day.

I think that's the last of 'em though. The rest that are still green will make a fab green tomato dhal tomorrow night!

My mouth is watering at the very sight. Mine finished about a month ago :'(
Smile, it confuses people.

:o :D wonderful sight, well done keeping the harvest going triffid - do they still taste like summer? ::)

Are these from the greenhouse Triffid ? don't like toms but they do look tempting what are the yellow ones called oh wants me to grow them next year. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
MAY THE CORN BE WITH YOU.

No greenhouse; rather less grand... they're from the ramshackle unheated lean-to that likes to call itself our conservatory.

But, yes, they still taste wonderful! I'm amazed at their persistence; it's taken that lot weeks to ripen fully, but they kept working at it  ;D

The bigger yellow tom is the last of the Golden Sunrise (makes the best pasta sauce ever, not that I'm planning that fate for that one!)
The little yellow fellas are Golden Peardrop (lovely flavour but still a slight sharpness, not too sweet)
And the red ones are, of course, Gardener's Delight!

not quite as impressive:  But these are ripening nicely on an extremely exposed Manchester terrace.  Photo taken this morning.

V impressive!...   Manchester obviously breeds tomatoes that don't feel the cold.  ;D

Mind you, even down here in the soft Saaf East, we've got freezing fog tonight.
