lost pictures

Hi i wonder if anyone can help i downloaded some pictures from my digital camera using a different method to normal dont ask me how and i lost them i then found them by accident, i have now lost them again any hints on where to look, i remember when i downloaded them i erased them from the camera something i never ever do plase help they were lovely photos

Hi Deb, we've all done it 

Go to start and click search, select files and folders, select pictures, select pictures again, put in a file name and serlect when you put them on the PC.
You should get a whole load of files and some of them should be your lovely photos
