I usually get a single or a duo,  but only when the snow is lying.  Handsome birds though.   I saw a couple of hundred at least   Redwings last week.   They wouldn't stay still long enough to take a pic.

You're both lucky.  The most I get visiting my garden are house sparrows  Smiley, dunnocks Smiley, blackbirds  Cheesy, starlings  Angry and the occasional wren Grin.  Still, it's nice to see them all  Grin

We get small groups of redwings round the flats (a mile from Birmingham city centre) but not the fieldfares. When I lived in Cornwall we used to get mixed flocks on the pastures.

The rest of the flock of about 30 were in a field just up the lane yesterday morning,so perhaps this one was an escapee!

Its back today again.   I have also had a Stoat stotting around my garden all morning.   I couldn't believe it when I saw it climb a tree.  Maybe telly is bad but the wildlife is keeping me amused.
