Importing bulbs

Not sure if this is the right forum for this, but I need a quick answer! Thinking of bidding for some bulbs on ebay but there's a note saying to check whether it's ok to import bulbs from northern Ireland. Anybody know?

We used to but most of our exhibition daffodil bulbs from Ireland, it used to worry the postman when small packets came with Irish postmarks.

Well, I bid, I won and now we'll see if they arrive! Only 4.33 for 20 crocosmia bulbs and 20 cerinthe seeds, so no great loss if they don't!
