Picked this today - the first of what looks like many!  Daughter number one hates proper corn on the cob, but loves these immature babies.  This is the first time I have grown them and I am really pleased with how they have done.  Also, compared to those in the supermarket, these are much longer!  This one is nearly 20cm long!

They look great! Am waiting for mine to produce, got masses last year, and the silks are so so soft to the touch!
