Probably getting more sun and are ripening faster!

kymrob

thought it could be sun related cause its only on side of gooseberry which is facing sun! thanks

:(

or it might be a red dessert gooseberry.

I have red ones and I think they taste better than the green ones

i have loads of gooseberrys on my little bush some of them are going red on one side but they are so small dont think i will get eating them

Give them some water - it will be a while until they ripen even if they are showing signs of red on one side and they can still fill out.
