what are potatoe days?

http://thewhitchurchweb.org/potatoday/

They are held in various places around the country on this weekend.  The prices are very good, and you can buy one seed potato or as many as you like, so you can have several different types each year (we aim for about 10 varieties a year, but this year I think we only have 7 or 8.)

I ticked Allotment Shop and Garden centre... not allowed "other" see Ryton/potato day threads this weekend!  :)

I get mine from a garden centre which employs peopls with handicaps.  They got the potatoes for me which I wanted .   International kidney and piccaso.  Last year I could not find I/K anywhere except by post and the postage was expensive.  So I am very pleased.

I usually buy mine from HDRA at Ryton, on their potato day.
