These are some pictures of the veg gardens at RHS Rosemoor, there is a potager section, which is just lovely and a really nice kitchen garden.

i recommend running the slide show...

the peas with purple flowers are about 6 foot tall and are called purple podded - amazing.

does anyone else have a lettuce and sweetcorn patch like this?

and these are all different varieties of spring onion!

these are pictures from the Tapeley park organic permaculture garden, the paths are generally carpet. interestingly, the crops in this garden were hardly eaten at all by slugs and bugs, yet in the kitchen garde the damage was quite bad...

Great piccies legless. ;D

I hope you enjoyed the rest of Rosemoor. I visited for the first time last september. I realy enjoyed it . Most things were still looking great even then.  :)

Just wish it was closer so I could go back at different times of the year and see it develop through the seasons. :'(

i did enjoy the rest of it Richard, but did feel a bit intimidated to be honest. I've never had a garden - my parents had a concrete yard and now we do too, we fill it much as we can with plants but my knowledge is limited! it was a bit scary being surrounded by people who know all the latin names of all the plants and stand around discussing them when my ability stretches to 'ooh look a rose'  ;D

so beautiful and i really don't know how people do it - you know, get borders and beds to look  so perfect - i'm sure i'd plant something inappropriately large at the front and ruin it!
