Allotments 4 All

Hi all!!

I think my potato's may have Brown spot or early potato blight (Alternaria alternata)!!!  Brown spots on the leaves which are going yellow!!

Is this a major disaster or can I do anything to save the crop!!!

Either way, remove and burn the leaves which have the symptoms. If the stems begin to collapse then remove them at ground level. The tubers underneath are usually ok as long as the infection does not travel down the stems. This way at least you get a crop of sorts.
