Allotments 4 All

I thought you would all like to see this lovely orchid. Having checked my book I think it is a Common Spotted Orchid, not so common in my case it's the first I have seen. I had to go through a boggy bit and balance on a log over said bog to get this pic.  ;D I know I could have fallen in.................

wow - you lucky thing. I would love to see an orchid in the wild.

 :) Glad you like it, yes I think I am very lucky. Its on one of my local walks, public footpath!! So anyone living nearby can come and see it.

I do so love living here, the wildlife is fantastic, another first saw a long tailed tit, never seen one before had to look that one up too! Farmer whose land its on is keen on wildlife, hooray for him.
