Don't have a dog at the mo  :(  but used to use Ocean Bites and Kelties from Burns, see http://www.burns-pet-nutrition.co.uk/product_range.htm  Used Burns cos they were natural and not full of c**p.

Also used to have Kongs stuffed with all sorts of good stuff.  Liver cake is meant to be good as well - sorry can't remember recipe but if you google it, prob something will come up.

As a meal my puppydog (Harvey) has dried food "Vitalin" as a treat he used to have only Bisckcroc and now being almost one year old (18th June ;D 2005 ;D big boy now ;D) also has "Gravy bones" as an alternative 8) But if I let him have a free hand, he will munch through curried chicken, marmite, cheese, apples,my slippers, my palm seedlings (that I treasure) yogurt, horse poo, milk but was sick (serves him right) if I pick my teeth (incidently they are mine) he wants some. :o

But most of all We love him to bits :-* ;D

I thought mine was happy with doggy chews. Seems she's gone and got a taste for rabbit, mole, mouse, shrews and flys.

Toby-dog has Hills Oral food for main meals, breakfast and tea.  Whenever we leave the house and he has to stay behind we will give him a Bonio, he wishes we left him more often  :)
For little treats he has gravy bones.  But he will eat, any kind of vegetable cooked or raw, tomatoes, lettuce, apples, bananas, cheese, the list is endless and garlic.  yes garlic, loves it, infact so far the only thing he has spat out and didn't eat was a black olive! ;D

We make our own to. Though ours get spoilt now as they are old so once a week I make them a fresh bread and they have bacon rind. Totally organic no preservatives, artifical colourings or additives.

homemade liver cake is a good one, or if you have a dog with a dodgy stomach you can use tuna or chicken instead..
