I have my dwarf beans in pots ready to go out now the frost has gone, but they have started producing flowers. Should I remove them or leave them on? Thanks

You need the flowers to get beans!

Leave them on, and plant out.

Thanks both. I know I need flowers for beans..... I was just wondering as they are only less than half the size they should be, as still in pots, if I needed them to focus on more growth first, rather than on flowering.

Thank you  :happy7:

If you have raised them inside in a warm place, it would be worth hardening them off gradually before exposing them to the rigours of the wild! Although it seems to be less likely of a frost this week, next week has a worrying trend. Keep alert .

Thanks ancellsfarmer, I've been hardening them off in the daytime all this week, and outside last night and tonight. I hadn't seen that about next week's weather, thanks for the heads up.
We have a new conservatory this year, and it's sped everything up somewhat!!
Hmm, to plant tomorrow or to wait...
