Like I mentioned in my other thread (Grot Spot) I have been getting some menial tasks out of the way while the weather was a bit inclement.

In this case I have emptied all of my 'planters' that were filled with spring bulbs e.g.Daffodils,Tulips Crocus, Alliums and a few other bits & bobs.

I have sorted out all the bulbs in trays to dry off before storing until I plant them out later in the year.

When they have dried I will clean off the husks and soil and sort them out by size ready for planting into the garden  / planters later in the year.

In the process I riddled out all the rubbish in the compost I retrieved from the planters,I managed to get around 150 litres of compost which I will add fertiliser too. Then later i the year I will reuse the recycled compost in the bottom half of any large pots or planters thus saving on using all new compost.  :blob7: :icon_cheers:

So well organised! How do you store yours? We are near fields here and I worry about mice.
