Has anyone experience of these.  What happens if it is windy?

Trying to find a solution to lack of toilets.

No experience of toilet tent but experience of the same designs for beach/ watersports changing. Depends on the design/ make....look for one with built in floor...it wont move while you are in it. Decathelon do good ones.

For females can highly recommend Sheewees :)

I can understand what you mean about the floor.  But had rather assumed that no floor might also have advantages.

Hector

I think no floors are great if tent securely pegged down and sitenot too windy....its my paranoia of "mid-wee say hello to neighbours" if it blows away ;)

Go before you go, but a bucket in the shed is the answer, you only have to clean your own then.

I want to put the tent on my plot.

Do you really think it will not be used when you are not there. Also so thin, it is not just the outside wind that will move it about.

When i still had a plot i was going to put one in my shed and put a shower curtain around for some privacy.  And to hide the toilet as i was more worried about other people using it and well filling it up :)

Hector

I was meaning one of these. Easy to pop up and twist down into a bag...you can get with and without a floor.

What about a composting toilet and use some fence panels on three sides with an opening one at the fourth side. I have a bucket in my shed. I am always afraid someone may come to my shed and either peep through the window or knock on the door.
How do you make a composting toilet, does anyone know?

Agree with Ace. No one else can use it and no one knows what you are going in the shed for. I did have a camping toilet in the shed at one time but took up too much room.
