Allotments 4 All

Mix fine seed such as carrot with 4/5 times DRY sand. Shake well. Put into spice jar or such and sread along row quite quickly. Keep going back and forth along row and you get an even sowing.
Pic 2 shows how easy it is to see where you've been. Pic 3 is the row lightly covered with compost and sand mix.

Oooh good idea - now I know what to do with those old spice jars - knew they'd come in handy  :)
