Thank you all A4A friends for your birthday wishes

It has been a quiet day with a spot of gardening, a good restaurant meal and fab cards and pressies.  Including an 'extra-loud' shocking pink cycling shirt, so you'll see me coming ;)

Both kids and spouses are in the process of moving but as soon as they'll be 'coming up for air' we have a big get together.  Several family birthdays are within just a few weeks, it is always a special time.  And yes, Atkin's cheesecake will definitely be on the menu, or rather my version, a choccie mousse cake. 

PS: Hope the bunnies got a treat  too, please give them a cuddle from me

Bunnies got a nice freshly-picked dinner of grass, herbs and wild plants along with a few rose flowers which they love. They get fresh greens every day though so it wasn't that special! And poor little Nemmy ran down the stairs a lot faster than he intended and ripped one of his claws out. It bled a bit but he's walking on it fine and running around and eating so he can't be feeling too bad. Not the best birthday for him!

Hope the paw is much better - and yes!  a gift of roses is great for anybody's birthday - even if they get eaten!  Will poor Nemmy's claw grow back?

It's kind of hard to examine it properly as he doesn't like being handled (we're working on desensitisation but it's a slow process) but there's no swelling and he isn't showing pain so I think we're good. I'm not sure if it'll grow back, it depends if there was damage to the bit that actually grows the claw. He'll do fine without that one claw though, if that's what happens.

They did very much approve of the roses. Yummy roses!
