Not sure exactly which one this is, but it is no more than 4 inches tall, but the flowers are a good size.

Oooh - so pretty.  I sowed aquilegia for the first time last year and I've noticed my first bud about to come out.  If it's half as good I'll get the camera out!

Lovely Eric!

I have one like that too - but mine's a bit more purpley. I think it's a flabellata (or however it's spelt!)
gone to pot :D

Eric, that is so beautiful

aquilegia

On second thoughts, I think it might be an alpina. I was looking through my label drawer and say the label. Totally mis-remembered it!

So bizarre - the smallest Aquilegia plant I've ever seen, with the biggest flowers!
gone to pot :D

Palustris

I think it is flabellata, my alpinas are a litlle taller and have less white in the centre.

Just found this one, even smaller, white with a pale cream centre.
