HI All

Having tried a few times to get sweet potatoes to sprout i have accidentally got an entire bag of them sprouting so the question is now what?

Is it 2 late to start them as slips?

As i said i have about 6/7 plants some of the slips have leaves and visible roots !

(only bought 10 days ago)

Second problem is that i am going away so what do i do? Though about wrapping them in newspaper and leaving in the garage for a few weeks - Ideas?

They'll start willingly enough, but the low temps and low light levels of our winter means they won't come to anything...
