And today the Soulie lettuces were planted out.  Really good looking little plants.  Thank you  :happy7:

Lettuce Soulie end of May.  Ready for cutting the biggest to give the smaller ones more room to grow.  Both Soulie and Spotted Cos are a nice addition to the garden and kitchen.   :angel11:

Ooo...they have grown well... :icon_cheers:
Hopefully you approve the taste too.

I had 'soulie' seed accident in GH last winter. Knocked over the saved seeds pot and now I have soulie popping up in GH borders in mass...seedlings all over the place.. :drunken_smilie: :icon_cheers:

They transplant well.  Sorry you lost your seed stash, but at least you got enough plants to save again.  I hope to save seeds and keep the variety going.  Let's hope the weather is reasonably dry at seed harvesting time.

Luckily it wasn't all the stash...I did collect several lots so I have plenty. I suppose it was 'happy' accident...I'll be well supplied with lettuce soon, though plenty of weeding will be involved too.
