I'd just had lunch and left the plate by my side, and carried on reading my book. Vic was asleep in the corner, and when I looked over, he was blissfully asleep....on the plate!




This answers the question can you fit a large ginger tabby cat into an Art Deco fruit bowl.....Max was fast asleep and didn't wake up for hours!

Glad you like the photos, Max and Archie are brothers (pics 3 & 4: not that you can see Max very well!) that we adopted via Freecycle would you believe (when they used to allow pets to be 'advertised').

Vic was a rescue cat, we used to have him and his brother Bob but he sadly was killed by a car as he was a bit bonkers and liked to sit in the middle of the busy road! Ah the folly of naming cats as a 'pair'....
