My sister and B in Law have stables in Surrey and a HUGE pile of well-rotted horse manure. They would be glad of the space (I'd love to attack the pile, but it's 60 miles door to door and we can get well=rotted one mile from home).  It's free to anyone who wants to bring their own bags/trailer and take it away.

If anyone's interested, PM me and I'll let you have the address.

Bumping this topic up - saw my sister todaay and was informed that the horses are still doing their business and the pile is getting bigger and bigger (visible on Google earth).  It's free, but they can't supply bags.

If anyone is interested, please pm me and I'll give the details.

Surrey County Council maintain a have a horse pasture management project. As part of that stables can register and advertise free if they have manure available. See Here http://www.surreycc.gov.uk/sccwebsite/sccwspages.nsf/LookupWebPagesByTITLE_RTF/Manure+wanted+and+available?opendocument

Its a shame other councils aren't as organized.

Does your sister still have any manure available?

Hi Newsoil this topic is old and the opening poster hasnt been on here for a year... so that's probably why no response but hope you'll be able to source some manure locally.
