How many for £2.99

Unwins  15
DTbrown 40
Kings 75 (£2.95)
Moles 30 (pro rata basic on £5)
Simply seeds 46 (pro rata based on £1.29)

T&M and Suttons do not have this variety.
My friendly marketeer sells as plants 12 for £1.70

Breeder appears to be Syngenta.

I have to admit that the Unwins ones are covered in a layer of bright blue so have a certain bling value, though no indication on packet of precisely what it is.  I can only assume that it contains some magic soil such as Sam was given in Lothlorien so that they will produce the best ever sprouts.

The blue coating is probably an anti fungal coating to stop them rotting off when planted.  More than likely a copper compound of some sort.
Moved to Portugal - ain't going back!

Gosh...those prizes and quantities vary a lot!

I have grown F1 Brussels for some years now and find their prizes climbing up year by year. Last year I grew Washington (I think) and they've made HUGE balls but  bland flavour..I wonder if the wet weather has anything to do with flavour?
This year I'm going for more 'traditional' variety...Fillbasket..that should make BIG brussels too but hopefully more of 'omf' taste wise.
Ebay had good price for them...£0.99 inc. delivery...for 100 seeds!  :icon_cheers:

We have grown Maximus for the last two seasons, but I can't remember how we sourced them... probably a wyevale 50p tub...  :drunken_smilie:

They are great sprouts, I've grown Maximus for a couple of years following a recommendation from Jeannine  :toothy10:
