Why sad?  There's plenty of time for planting yet. :icon_cheers:
Thanks for all the work you do to organise it.

OK, 14 packets of each type of seed it is.  Filling and labelling here as fast as I can.  Will send you the seeds asap Jayb.  If we all do this, the swap returns could be received by mid to late February and that is still plenty early for sowing.

I am putting the seeds into a large, padded, self addressed/stamped envelope (which is my return envelope), and use an outer sleeve on top, with your address on, to send to you.  Thank you for your PM with all the information.

So happy that this is going ahead.  Thank you Jayb.

Getting excited now!! Will post parcel tomorrow .
Thank-you Jayb

My seeds are in packets too and ready for the send off.. :icon_cheers:...hopefully I get them posted tomorrow.
And then I start looking to 'fill in' the info on our list. Unfortunately I wasn't organized enough to take photos...so only some has entry with pic.

Done.  :happy7:

My grand-kids 'helped', so I'm sorry if they leak seeds or whatnot, but that's what grand-kids are for, isn't it? :glasses9:

Done.  Have you warned the postman Jayb ?

P.s have you seen the  " dedicated" seed envelopes in Wilkos?

I need to get to the allotment and pick up some of my seeds, but I haven't been well the last few days. The rat-tailed radish seeds are fine, and so are the peas, but the only bean I saved this year which seems to have a decent germination rate is Trail of Tears, and it's probably too soon to put that in again. The others are smelly and nasty, and about one in six is viable!

When does the seed circle for 2014 start? I'm interested in joining in this year...

If people are interested in another seed circle we can start pretty soon  :happy7: I've already short-listed a few varieties I'd like to grow for it!
I haven't put up a thread yet as I thought it might be best to round this one up first? Although I can get one started if people are itchy to get their names down  :blob7:

I'm going to suggest Feb 15th as a closing date to get your parcels to me. I can put everyone's ready that weekend and post on the Monday.

No I thought I'd surprise him! Luckily he's very good.

I've not been to Wilkos in ages, what are they like?

No rush Robert, when you are able  I've suggested a cut of date of Feb 15 to have received seed parcels by, is this ok for you? I lost some bean seeds too it was just too wet. Peas and rat tails will be just fab, you could always add some beans next year if you are joining in again.

Just finished packing here and the seeds will go in the post tomorrow.  Don't worry Robert.  As it happens I have grown out the rare white seeded Cherokee Trail of Tears this year to renew my seed stock and ended up with plenty for everybody in the circle.  This is a mutation that happened well over a decade ago now in Mr Yeoman's garden.  A couple of other beans, peas, tomatoes, lettuce, melothria and a pattypan squash for the circle.

Yes please, sign me up for 2014 too.

This is getting exciting indeed.  But at this stage I have absolutely no idea what to grow for next year's circle.  Well maybe, the long promised salad burnet herb will actually produce seeds .  Oh and the rare pea Sugar Lord, resurrected from near extinction by goodlife

I will also complete my little variety descriptions on the mini-catalogue over the next few days.  If anybody has difficulty uploading their information or photos, I am happy to help.

This is what has been uploaded so far:
