i keep getting internet explorer cant show web page its an oldish computer with windows XPany ideas please,its begining to get through to me.

Hard to say without more info.

Try installing Chrome, that tends to work well on older computers.

We have had many problems over the past week, are things any better now?

Hopefully most connectivity problems are now resolved.

Likely to be the strength of the broadband connection not the browser id check that and use a wired connection to the PC from the router if possible. Good luck in any case also try your broadband support.
