anyone know how I can change my BT ID  when I had my broadband modem and registered with Bt I used my outlook email address, I now want to access the free Wi FI but BT will only do it if I use their Bt email and they at the moment use Yahoo, I created a yahoo email account but BT still will not recognize it and insist that they will only accept outlook which is the email I used to get online I phone the call centre but I conld`nt understand a word the BT  person said They sounded if they were out somewhere in the Far east ?

Simple solution is to use BT email as normal and get your yahoo emails to forward to the BT address.

You are able to ask to speak to someone who is not "so heavily accented" without causing offence. When I spoke to BT the other week the young man actually asked me if I could understand him!

Problem sorted When I signed up for BT broadband they sent me a letter with my BT email address and also a password I found out this morning that numbers both were wrong.
