I am sorry to hear that John's condition is now much worse, Jeannine.  As you know, I looked after both my parents who had Alzheimer's, though, not both at the same time.

You certainly need a sense of humour and I loved reading about John's proposal.  I still smile when I think of my Dad pointing to his ear and miming "I can't talk out of this ear".  He mimed it several times too and when Mum and I laughed, he did too.  I don't know whether it suddenly dawned on him what he was trying to tell us or if he just joined in because we were laughing.

I am pleased that John has finally agreed to go to the Day Centre too as it will give you a break....and you will need it, especially if he starts getting up in the middle of the night and wandering off.  You will be able to have a doze in your lovely new greenhouse and catch up with missed sleep.

Take care of yourself Jeannine.  It's lovely to see you back on here posting again.  xx

Nice to hear from you girl, but I'm glad your getting help, you'll be no use to John if you make yourself ill, all the best Kev.    :sunny:
MAY THE CORN BE WITH YOU.

Just a quick 'Hello' back Jeannine...
Thanks for keeping in touch with both the good news and the bad.
Healing feelings...
