Looks like we had a shower over night, but still nothing to get excited about, but I'm sure the grass will be knee high by lunch time.

Reporting 0.3MM in North East Hampshire, less than a heavy dew!

Looks like we have about 1/4 inch about 6mm.  Though I reckon that will only wet for soil for 1/2 to 3/4 inch.  Certain not get near the roots but better than nothing.  It will unfortunately get the weeds very excited.

Things had been very dry here, my raspberries are drying out, but I did not want to give them tape water since it is very full of lime.

But at least I have some in my butts now to give to the raspberries.

One blazing thunderstorm with an inch of rain the night before last and a bit of heavy rain last night too.  So welcome.  No siphoning shower water for the time being ...............   :blob7:

Well it rained on my garden and plot for the first time in weeks - I could smell it as soon as I opened the back door.  Still need a few more nights like that - we have cracks in our clay soil that go all the way down to hell...

We had rain 2 days ago but yesterday the soil seemed very dry to me :-(  Cloudy today but not much chance of rain methinks.
2012 - Snow in February, non-stop rain till July. Blight and rot are rife. Thieving voles cause strife. But first runner beans and lots of greens. Follow an English allotment in urban France: http://roos-and-camembert.blogspot.com

Very little rain here - about 30cm in the water butt taking water from the main roof! One full butt is only enough to water my veggie beds and pots for three days (or rather evenings!). I fill one of my 6 butts from the tap and have to keep telling myself - oh well, it's only money and SWW has paid me half the government's concession to help with the high water bills here!

We've had some very heavy downpours here, drains can't cope and the gutters take all day to drain away, my water butt was running low and after just checking is full to the brim.    :blob7:
MAY THE CORN BE WITH YOU.

We had some rain here overnight, not much though.
