Allotments 4 All

We have quite bad leaf curl on our tomatoes in our polytunnel. 
They have enough water but I wouldnt say they are over watered., but I could be under watering them I spose

The ones in a large greenhouse we have do not have this problem. The polytunnel is sighted on ground tht hasn't grown toms before.


The leads are quite badly curled in some cases and feel thick n leathery but the plants seem ok otherwise but not that tall.

Would I be right in thinking its pyschological and that it could be caused by the cool night temps.

Have other people had this and how did you crop

Leaf curl is usually caused by fluctuating temperatures..and at the moments nights are still quite low. As long as the leaves remain green and intact, it should have no effect to their function nor cropping.

that was really my thought, i think the large greenhouse doesnt go quite as cool and the is no problem in there, plus with them being in the ground shouldnt dry out so easily
