Just bought some piccolo toms from Morrisons as they were only £1 and they taste lovely.  I am trying to grow toms (gardeners delight and moneymaker) which I am always excited about if I get any to grow and go red, but thought I would try some of these next year. Think I will splash out and buy some seeds, anyone else grown them, are they easy to grow. OH is growing san marzano 2, costoluto fiorentino, cuor di bue and cilliegia, but they are only just coming up, as he left them for me to plant (big mistake).  I have leaves on my toms but no flowers yet, not planting them at the allotment, but in pots in plastic greenhouse, leanto and sheltered front garden.  Thought toms were just toms, but have now learnt how many different varieties there are.  All good fun. Got a tom grow bag from 99p shop so will try that out in the back garden/yard which is protected by a brick wall.

Piccolo are a lovely tomato to grow, so tasty. They will be the same to grow as Gardener's Delight, maybe not so good as GD if grown out doors. I'm not sure if seeds are still available but if you haven't eaten all the tomatoes yet, you could always save a few seed from one of the fruits to grow next year ( just squidge the seeds out on a bit of kitchen paper, spread them out a bit. Leave till really dry and then pop them in an envelope until you need them. You can just rip off a bit of paper with some seeds and pop in a pot.) I've got some seed here I'd be happy to send if you are stuck for some.

Franchi's stock them, I'm growing their version plus two types saved from supermarket 'finest', don't care if they come true or not it's just an experiment..
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴
