Just looking through Justseeds web site and came across this tomato variety;  "Gardnerds' Delight. One of the most popular varieties producing trusses with large crops of small fruits but with outstanding flavour."!

A gardnerd is someone who learnt all about gardening from a book.

Its quite a popular variety, or so I'd thought. At least, the people I know that grow tomatoes in this area usually grow these.
They produce mostly very long trusses with lots of little red taste-bombs on them.
I can't say how blight-proof they are though, because we've not suffered that particular evil yet.
I usually limit them to five or seven trusses to get the best of them in 7-Litre pots, fed inorganically.

"Carry on therefore with your good work.  Do not rest on your spades, except for those brief periods which are every gardeners privilege."

I am sure all Gardnerds need regular feeding.

I just looked the link... they sell 'small garden seeds' too...aren't most seeds small?  :drunken_smilie:

If they mean 'seeds for small garden'...well then what's listed for that purpose is bit 'odd'...brussels, cabbage..all those grow quite large!

ah..add to edit; they mean small quantities for smaller gardens..

I grew Gardners Delight, last year they were great  like tomatoes used to taste
  Plant some treat yourself. :toothy10:

Well Garnders makes more sense, it is  medical term for hanging polyps, so maybe the tomatoes are similar to those other fuuny ones that are all fused together and look like a bunch of very inflamed piles.

Ain't it amazing what you can get and I though Ball Bag was a funny neame.
